We are seeking top-tier talent to join our Buildings division and deliver innovative projects in the healthcare, education, hospitality, recreational, entertainment, retail, commercial office, mixed-use, multi-family residential and light industrial sectors. What You'll Do:
- Monitor Costs: Keep track of daily, weekly, and monthly labour, equipment, material, and subtrade costs
- Cost Reviews: Regularly review cost accruals with the Project Manager
- Timesheet Management: Ensure proper cost allocation by reviewing and coding timesheets
- Schedule Development: Assist in creating and updating project schedules
- Construction Monitoring: Compare actual construction progress with the schedule, identify critical paths, and stay updated on manpower and material deliveries
- Requisition Management: Submit requisitions for materials and equipment, and complete receiving documentation
- Drawing Control: Manage drawings, drawing records, and revisions
- Change Management: Handle site instructions and change orders
- Quality Assurance: Maintain QA/QC documentation and records of all testing and inspections
- Documentation: Provide written documentation for clarifications and instructions and attend all necessary meetings
Qualifications:
- Education: Nearing completion of a degree or diploma in Architecture, Construction Management or Engineering is required
- Experience: Some work experience in the construction industry is beneficial. Extracurricular and / or Volunteer experience is a strong asset
