Recruitment Scams & Fraudulent Job Offers
Recent incidents of fraudulent job offers and recruitment have been reported and brought to the attention of our company. Graham takes pride in our ethical and fair hiring practices, and we take matters of recruitment fraud very seriously.
Persons pretending to be recruiters or hiring managers on behalf of Graham are seeking to commit fraud against unsuspecting individuals, using Graham’s name and its intellectual property. Please be aware of the potential for such fraudulent activity in order to avoid becoming a victim.
Those engaging in fraudulent job offers will falsify their identities, using Graham branding and posing as Graham employees to initiate or offer illegitimate job opportunities to work on Graham projects in Canada or the United States. These offers are usually sent through e-mail or direct messaging applications, or they may be advertised on social media, particularly Facebook. Such fraudulent offers promise victims employment with Graham in exchange for a fee to process the victim's employment papers, tender offers, job applications, and work permits. Victims are usually requested to pay fees and provide personal information such as passports, licenses, or social insurance numbers, to a fictitious company e-mail or website. These are not legitimate Graham job offers. If you receive a job offer that involves the payment of fees it is not legitimate. If you receive such an offer, you should contact Graham directly at recruitment@graham.ca and also contact your local law enforcement authorities to report this fraudulent activity.
Please be aware that Graham will never request fees or copies of passport documentation for securing positions with our organization. All individuals must apply directly online at Careers at Graham (construction-benefits.com) in order to be considered for a position.
