Graham is actively recruiting for a New Graduate Project Coordinator position supporting the Buildings Division. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll kick‑start your career by working alongside project teams to help turn plans into spaces that strengthen communities gaining hands‑on experience in coordination, scheduling, documentation, and project controls while being supported to learn, grow, and make a real impact from day one.
Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site
- Track and Control Project Costs: Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly labour, equipment, material, and subtrade costs. Review cost accruals with the Project Manager and ensure accurate cost coding through timesheet reviews
- Support Project Scheduling and Progress Tracking: Assist with developing and updating project schedules. Track construction progress against the schedule, identify critical paths, and stay informed on manpower levels and material deliveries
- Manage Project Documentation and Drawings: Maintain drawing control, including drawing logs, records, and revisions. Provide clear written documentation for project clarifications, instructions, and site communication
- Handle Requisitions, Changes, and Site Documentation: Prepare and submit requisitions for materials and equipment, complete receiving documentation, and support change management through site instructions and change orders
- Ensure Quality and Compliance on Site: Maintain QA/QC documentation, including records of inspections and testing, and attend required meetings to support project communication and compliance.
The Right Tools for the Job
- Education: Near completion of a diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: 0–2 years of construction industry experience preferred, including co‑op, internship, volunteer, or extracurricular experience; exposure to project controls or site operations is an asset
- Skills: Ability to manage cost tracking, scheduling support, documentation, and drawing control in a fast‑paced construction environment.
Compensation:
- Salary Range $65,000 to $75,000 per annum
- Compensation aligned to education and experience, ensuring fair and competitive placement
- Three to five weeks of vacation, with additional credit for prior industry experience
