About The Role:

Reporting to the Regional HSEQ Manager, Construction Manager and/or the Operations Manager, the Quality and LEED Specialist (or Technical Scope Specialist) is responsible for leading LEED and QA/QC initiatives for the construction project while also providing assistance to more senior staff (Project Managers, Superintendents) in coordination, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, etc. as needed.

 

As a Quality and LEED Specialist at Graham you will:

  • Perform a variety of duties including but not limited to updating construction schedules and budgets, maintaining cost control, monitoring labour material and equipment activities, and administrative duties that relate to QA/QC and LEED aspects of the project

  • Champion the LEED and QA/QC aspects of the project including being a Subject Matter Expert in the areas of technical specialty

  • Attend project meetings, present updates, and document action items and other pertinent project deliverables/decisions

  • Ensure that project site and company assets are secure and maintain in a safe and respectful work environment at all times

  • Monitor project change management process, identify change events, submit change notices, track changes and optional changes in project scope, specially those that relate to your technical scope and present to the Project Team when required

  • Provide timely progress reports and to the Project Team

  • Assist with drawings, drawing records, revisions, site instructions and change orders

  • Obtain and provide written documentation for all clarifications and instructions

  • Work with both the client and consultant to represent the team in your speciality areas of LEED and QA/QC

  • Maintain safety records and take responsibility for the development, implementation, and execution of the Project Specific Safety Plan (PSSP)

  • Maintain QA/QC records, Develop and/or close ITPs as needed

  • Ensure implementation of the Project Specific Quality Plan (PSQP) on the project site by all project stakeholders

  • Review the Field Surveillance Reports (FSR) and initiate NCRs based on analysis and severity of findings

 

Qualifications/experience:

  • Trade Certification or Technical Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field experience is required

  • Experinence within Quality Control in a ICI Construction Environment

  • LEED AP

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite

  • Proficient using scheduling and project management software
