Graham is actively recruiting for a Project Controls Manager. Reporting to the Senior Project Controls Manager, this role is responsible for establishing and maintaining project controls processes, procedures, and systems while providing high-level support to project teams and operations. The Project Controls Manager identifies projects at risk, supports performance improvements and adherence to Graham standards, escalates key issues as required, and provides leadership and mentorship to Project Controls personnel.  

 

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site 

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of project controls processes, procedures, systems, and standard practices across project teams.
  • Support project controls planning and project start-up activities, including budgeting, scheduling, document management, quantity tracking, and related processes.
  • Monitor project performance and identify projects at risk, providing guidance on corrective actions, escalating key concerns, and ensuring adherence to Graham standards.
  • Develop and integrate project controls metrics and KPIs into project and portfolio reporting, providing reliable information to support project and financial decision-making.
  • Partner with Operations, Corporate Services, and project teams to provide project controls expertise, resolve complex issues, and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor Project Controls personnel and project staff, promoting consistent practices, knowledge sharing, and effective project controls across teams.

 

The Right Tools for the Job 

  • Education: College diploma, technical school training, or university degree; a degree in Construction or Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including construction and Project Controls systems experience.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of cost control, document management, planning and scheduling processes and systems, with proficiency in MS Office Suite, Project Controls software, and P6

 

Compensation

  • Salary Range $160,000 to $190,000 per annum
  • Compensation aligned to education and experience, ensuring fair and competitive placement
  • Three to five weeks of vacation, with additional credit for prior industry experience
