Graham is actively recruiting an M&E Project Coordinator to support the Water/Wastewater Division. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role supports the mechanical and electrical scopes of work by assisting with coordination, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control. The M&E Project Coordinator works closely with the project team to ensure subcontractors are prepared, drawings are approved, and documentation is processed accurately, contributing to projects being delivered safely, on time, on budget, and in full compliance with project requirements
Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site
- Coordinate and support the execution of mechanical and electrical scopes on active projects, ensuring work complies with drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets, and applicable codes
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to manage shop drawings, schedules, change management, reporting, and commissioning activities
- Support project controls and financial tracking by assisting with budgeting, Labour monitoring, billing, change orders, and scope management for M&E work packages
- Promote and uphold strong health, safety, environmental, and quality performance by supporting project safety plans, quality requirements, incident close‑out, and field surveillance activities
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams through clear communication and proactive coordination
The Right Tools for the Job
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 3–7 years of experience supporting mechanical and electrical scopes on construction projects, preferably within water/wastewater or infrastructure.
- Skills: Strong understanding of M&E systems, construction coordination, scheduling, change management, quality processes and working knowledge of BIM/VDC tools.
Compensation
- Salary Range $85,000 to $105,000 per annum
- Compensation aligned to education and experience, ensuring fair and competitive placement
- Three to five weeks of vacation, with additional credit for prior industry experience
