Graham is actively recruiting for a Document Control Coordinator to support the Buildings Division. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting project teams by receiving, managing, tracking, maintaining, and distributing project documentation. The successful candidate will bring junior to senior‑level experience in document control, ideally within a general contracting, engineering, or consulting environment on major infrastructure projects.  

 

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site 

  • Set up, manage, and maintain the Project Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), including master document registries, revision control, and document distribution using InEight.
  • Receive, review, process, and transmit project documentation from clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Align document control processes with project and contractual obligations, including managing submittals, document deadlines, and service level agreements.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute document control reports (e.g., document status, outstanding information, weekly reports) to support project teams.
  • Train and support project teams in the effective use of document control systems while maintaining clear communication with Quality, Scheduling, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including turnover and close‑out

 

The Right Tools for the Job 

  • Education: Post‑secondary education in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 4-10 years of document control experience within a general contracting, engineering, or consulting environment, ideally supporting large and complex construction projects.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency with electronic document management systems (EDMS), with experience in InEight and/or Unifier considered an asset

 

Compensation

  • Salary Range $75,000 to $85,000 per annum
  • Compensation aligned to education and experience, ensuring fair and competitive placement
  • Three to five weeks of vacation, with additional credit for prior industry experience
