About The Role:

Reporting functionally to the Alliance Project Team Lead, the Site and People Culture Assistant will provide administrative support focusing on Training and Development and other people support functions to staff and trades being onboarded to the Richmond Hospital Redevelopment Project. The redevelopment aims to expand emergency services and operating rooms and increase bed capacity. 

As a Site People and Culture Assistant you will:

  • Book rooms and send invitations for training sessions
  • Maintain training records (E-Global)
  • Provide general administrative support across HR and T&D
  • Take meeting minutes for People & Culture and other assigned meetings
  • Assist with onboarding documentation
  • Oversee activities related to bringing new hires into the Alliance, working closely with the coordinator to ensure a smooth onboarding process
  • Set up new hires in the Global E-Training platform
  • Manage ID badge issuance/deactivation for new and departing Alliance members
  • Provide and oversee Alliance welcome packages (information, swag)
  • Manage the master list of Alliance members and share updates to keep records current
  • Scheduling & Team Support
  • Check calendars and schedule meetings for People & Culture, APT, and AMT leads

Qualifications/experience:

  • Formal education in Business Administration or Human Resources is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience working in an administrative role
  • Knowledge of the technology required to set up a meeting room
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional and effective communication abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Courteous, helpful, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite including MS Teams

Compensation: 

  • $48,000 - $65,000 per annum
  • Salary will commensurate with education and experience

  • 3 to 5 weeks of vacation per year, with credit for prior industry experience
