Safety Manager- Water

About the Role:

Moltz Construction Inc. is looking for a Safety Manager to support a project in Grand County, Colorado, approximately 30 minutes north of Silverthorne. The project is a $39M water treatment plant consisting of extensive excavation, concrete, interior piping, and equipment work. The project is scheduled to last for last 28 months.

As a Safety Manager at Moltz Construction Inc., you will:

• Lead by example, and demonstrate a positive HSE attitude
• Conduct daily safety meetings, reports, inspections, and may need to lead training sessions
• Facilitate involvement with relevant external partnerships related to workplace health, safety and, environment
• Support internal and external assessments of the HSE Management System
• Conduct inspections, training, reporting, and documenting
• Work in the field, side by side with project teams

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or Certificate in HSE and/or related education or equivalency
• Working knowledge of OSHA and/or MSHA standards is preferred 
• MSHA experience/training is preferred
• 5 years’ experience in construction and 2 years in safety management-related field preferred 
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Analyzes complex problems to find integrated, actionable and pragmatic solutions.
• Excellent time management skills, with focus on attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary- $75K - $95K per annum based on experience
