We are seeking top-tier talent to join our Infrastructure division and build innovative projects in the transit and transportation sectors, such as roads, highways/freeways, bridges, interchanges, LRTs, BRTs, and airports. About the Role
 

Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager is an experienced construction professional that has completed successful Infrastructure construction projects within the Greater Toronto Area and has a strong client focus. Driven by commitment to both team and project, the  Project Manager is a good team-builder who cultivates strong relationships with key professionals across both internal and external stakeholders; they are fully proficient with the technical knowledge, leadership, and communication skills required for complex projects assignments in the areas of heavy rail, light rail, bridges and heavy civil.  

 

As a  Project Manager at Graham, you will:

  • Manage infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
  • Select and negotiate with subcontractors to ensure scope coverage and value.
  • Monitor cost reporting, resource tracking, and margin forecasting.
  • Support dispute resolution and change management processes.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and contribute to team development.
  • Implement the Project Specific Quality Plan and review quality KPIs.
  • Collaborate with estimating teams during pre-award planning and costing.
  • Manage the Project Specific Safety Plan and ensure compliance with HSE standards.

 

Qualifications / Experience:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of direct construction project management experience required, primarily in the transit/rail sector
  • Technical trade certificate is a minimum requirement; Technical Diploma or a Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred
  • Extensive knowledge in construction methods and project management processes 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex or multiple construction projects
  • Ability to train project staff in all aspects of project requirements
