Graham is seeking expressions of interest from motivated individuals to join our talent pipeline for future opportunities, as a Senior Estimator for the Infrastructure Division.

Reporting to the Pre-Construction Director, this role supports the estimating team by utilizing standardized processes and tools to deliver accurate project scopes, cost estimates, and meet deadlines. The Senior Estimator interprets tender documents and communicates clearly with internal teams and industry partners to ensure successful project outcomes.  

 

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site 

  • Lead and mentor the team: Guide junior estimators and oversee the estimating process
  • Prepare accurate estimates: Complete detailed cost estimates, including labor, equipment, and overheads
  • Assess risks and opportunities: Identify constructability issues, cost-saving strategies, and competitive advantages
  • Manage bid process: Oversee bid closings and ensure subcontractor scopes and pricing are accurate
  • Develop schedules and scopes: Create preliminary construction schedules and subcontractor scopes for planning

 

The Right Tools for the Job 

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; Gold Seal Certification and LEED/LEAN experience are assets
  • Experience: 10–12 years of combined field and estimating experience in heavy civil, transit, or infrastructure projects; design-build experience preferred
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in estimating software, MS Excel, scheduling tools (Primavera), and strong ability to interpret tender documents, manage bids, and mentor junior estimators

Compensation

  • Salary Range $120,000 to $150,000 per annum
  • 3 to 5 weeks of vacation per year, with credit for prior industry experience
  • Salary will commensurate with education and experience
