Graham is actively recruiting for a MEIT Specialist supporting the Buildings Shared Services Division. Reporting to the IMIT Manager the MEIT Specialist plays a key role in supporting; planning, coordinating, and overseeing MEIT components on complex healthcare projects. The MEIT Specialist provides design and constructability input, manages mechanical, electrical, and IMIT scopes and ensures seamless integration from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout.

 

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site 

  • Plan & Review MEIT Components: Provide input on schedules, design, and constructability for mechanical, electrical, and IMIT systems (Divisions 26, 27 & 28)
  • Manage Contracts & Coordination: Oversee MEIT subcontractors, procurement alignment, and integration with other scopes of work
  • Lead Onsite Activities: Supervise, troubleshoot, and inspect MEIT installations; ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
  • Drive Commissioning & Closeout: Coordinate commissioning with stakeholders, ensure delivery of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranties
  • Collaborate & Mentor: Facilitate issue resolution among engineers, consultants, and trades; mentor team members on MEIT systems and processes

 

The Right Tools for the Job 

  • Education: Engineering Degree or Trade Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
  • Skills: Expertise in MEIT systems (Divisions 26, 27 & 28), design-build experience, strong coordination and troubleshooting abilities, proficiency in QA/QC and commissioning processes.
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years in MEIT scopes, ideally on complex healthcare projects with general contractor or subcontractor experience.

 

Compensation

  • Salary Range $95,000 to $110,000 per annum
  • Salary will commensurate with education and experience
  • Excellent Flexible Health & Dental benefits plan
  • 3 to 5 weeks of vacation per year, with credit for prior industry experience
