About the role

Graham is currently looking for an HSE Coordinator for our Services division. This is a permanent position located in Lima, OH. As an HSE Coordinator at Graham, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting health, safety, and environmental systems. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach, with a strong focus on field-level presence, compliance, and worker engagement. You will work closely with project teams, regulatory bodies, and clients to ensure safety is fully integrated into project execution, from onboarding through project completion.

As an HSE Coordinator at Graham, you will:

  • Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses, and ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions
  • Participate in internal and client HSE meetings and joint safety committees
  • Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and client representatives involved in safety and environmental initiatives
  • Assist in the development and delivery of health, safety, and environmental training programs, including onboarding requirements such as DISA compliance
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date training records and safety documentation
  • Coordinate and conduct internal audits of HSE programs and site conditions to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
  • Manage injury response, provide basic first aid treatment, and coordinate injury case management as needed
  • Communicate safety programs to enhance employee awareness, engagement, and adherence to best practices
  • Administer HSE programs on small to medium-sized projects or multiple job sites, as required
  • Draft required reports and submissions to federal, state, and local authorities
  • Support operational teams in achieving site-specific safety goals through inspections, coaching, and consistent presence on-site
  • Assist in BBS (Behavior-Based Safety) assessments and provide guidance to improve frontline safety behaviours.

  • Perform additional HSE duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BA/BS 2-5+ YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Experience in Site safety officer roles in Experience in HSE related roles in Industrial, Oil&Gas, Petrochemical Maintenance Industry preferred not required
  • Must be willing to be onsite at Client location
  • Available to work night shift and split shifts
  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident is required
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in indoor and outdoor environments with uneven terrain.
  • Variable environmental conditions include heat, dusts, noise, and chemicals.
  • Position will include conducting field work and wearing associated personal protective equipment, including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses/goggles, safety shoes/boots, hard hat, and hearing protection
