About the Role
Graham is seeking an experienced and dynamic Estimator to play a key role in our transition to InEight estimating software while supporting high‑complexity project pursuits. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward‑thinking professional who enjoys both the technical side of software implementation and the strategic side of project estimating.
As an Estimator at Graham, you will:
- Manage the configuration, rollout, and user training for InEight estimating software.
- Customize software settings, templates, and workflows to align with project and business needs.
- Develop and maintain internal user guides, process maps, and best‑practice documentation.
- Provide ongoing support to ensure the system aligns with field execution and project operations.
- Define project scope and prepare preliminary construction schedules using labor and subcontractor input.
- Complete quantity takeoffs and develop cost estimates for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
- Evaluate design criteria and recommend cost‑effective, constructible solutions.
- Analyze subcontractor bids to ensure accurate scope alignment and competitiveness.
- Participate in (or lead) bid closes under the guidance of a senior estimator.
- Develop scopes of work and assist with budget preparation for smaller or mid‑complexity opportunities.
- Create standardized templates and reporting structures to improve estimating consistency.
- Support internal teams by developing efficient workflows and ensuring seamless adoption of new systems.
- Ensure estimate schedules include key milestones, required resources, and risk considerations.
- Select and invite trade partners who meet financial, manpower, and technical requirements.

- Promote accurate, compliant, and high‑quality estimating practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma required; completion of a college or technical school program preferred.
- 5–7 years of estimating experience; heavy civil or water/wastewater experience is considered an asset.
- Advanced expertise in InEight estimating software required.
- Experience with Timberline is considered an asset.
- Strong background in construction software setup, configuration, customization, and workflow development.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Ability to interpret tender documents, specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements.
- Detailed understanding of all construction scopes of work.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: 120k-135k
