About the Role
Join Graham Capital, the dynamic project development and financing team at Graham. We're seeking a Development Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our team. You'll work alongside our Development Managers, contributing to our key goal: securing and delivering profitable, low-risk projects in collaboration with Graham’s Buildings and Infrastructure Divisions, utilizing a variety of public private partnership and structured project financing models. Your role involves identifying potential projects, strategizing pursuits, and leading competitive proposals. Post-award, you'll act as Graham Capital’s development lead, and manage the technical, commercial, and financial requirements of the project to ensure it is a success.
This position will focus primarily on continuing care facilities, multi-key residential projects, and building retrofits in our Canada and US markets. The work location is flexible and open to a hybrid working arrangement, given that work will support various offices across our established markets.

As a Development Coordinator at Graham Capital, you will:
- Contribute to the development of strategic market intelligence to inform our strategy across various geographic regions and asset classes
- Participate in market and business development activities to help with the origination of projects for our business
- Contribute to the preparation and delivery of presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Contribute to our project financing strategy and lead the development of funding applications, including coordination of operational, financial and project information
- Engage the Buildings and Infrastructure teams to develop bid strategies and ensure the right processes are followed to put Graham in the best position to secure projects
- Provide support to our project development team on active projects, completing a wide variety of tasks to keep projects progressing on time and on budget
- Extend client focus to our Buildings and Infrastructure divisions, supporting them in the pursuit and delivery of profitable, low-risk work
- Contribute at the highest level to Graham’s financial performance for the benefit of our unitholders
- Professionally represent Graham in various public forums, including conferences, client meetings, and presentations
- Provide other support to Development Managers and Associate Directors as required
Qualifications/Experience:
- A degree in business or engineering is required
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant construction industry experience in a project delivery role
- Basic knowledge of project management, commercial management, and finance is an asset
- Familiarity with full-lifecycle project delivery, including pre-pursuit, bid, execution, and closeout
- Basic understanding of our markets in the Buildings and/or Infrastructure sectors is an asset
- Strong work ethic and ambition; desire to be part of a small, high-performing team
- Good commercial acumen, strong client focus, and excellent leadership potential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good networking skills and a willingness to participate in various industry events and forums
- Creative thinking; an ability to generate workable solutions to problems
