About The Role:

 

As a Project Administrator at Milender White, you will be crucial in providing essential administrative support to the Project Team. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of daily operations and contribute to the overall success of the projects undertaken.

 

As a Project Administrator at Milender White, you will:

 

  • Provide administrative support by collaborating with the Project Team
  • Perform daily administrative tasks, including filing, document transmission, preparing correspondence, reports, forms, and handling phone calls
  • Receive goods, assist buyers, maintain calendars, and coordinate events and meetings
  • Prioritize daily tasks, multitask, and navigate diverse personalities effectively
  • Quickly shift priorities to deliver results promptly
  • Demonstrate eagerness to take on new responsibilities and learn new tasks
  • Assist in completing site-specific paperwork accurately
  • Welcome guests and ensure their comfort until their host arrives
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in office spaces and conference areas throughout the day
  • Handle temporary laborer payroll submittals
  • Create open lines of communication between subcontractors and the Project Team
  • Review payroll documentation for accuracy and make necessary adjustments
  • Communicate directly with the Human Resource Department to ensure data integrity, covering new hires, terminations, transfers, and rate changes
  • Balance payroll accounts by identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date payroll records
  • Manage financial deductions and adjustments
  • Stay updated on federal and state payroll and tax regulations to ensure compliance
  • Process and verify employee-related changes and adjustments
  • Prepare and distribute accurate payroll reports
  • Initiate and actively participate in the ongoing improvement process of the payroll system

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • High school graduate or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a construction environment preferred
  • 2+ years of practical knowledge of payroll principles and certified wage processes in the construction industry preferred
  • Strong computer proficiency, including excellent formatting, grammatical, and word processing skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to excel in a team environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a mature/positive attitude
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience handling certified and prevailing wage payroll processes is a must

 

Compensation and Benefits:

 

  • Hourly rate of $25.00-$40.00 per hour, based on experience
