• Lead dispute resolution matters, including coordination with external counsel
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide clear, practical, solutions-oriented legal advice aligned with business objectives
• Support corporate services functions, including insurance/risk management, finance, real estate, and supply chain
• Contribute to development of contract templates, policies, and best practices
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (CA, WA, CO, or NE preferred)
• 3–5+ years of high-quality construction law experience in private practice or in-house with a contractor or engineering firm
• Experience handling construction disputes, including claims development, defense, and resolution
• Familiarity with construction insurance, bonding, and coverage issues
• Strong working knowledge of construction contracts and delivery models (design-build, CMAR, design-bid-build)
• Experience advising on entitlement and quantum issues
• Exposure to U.S. employment law (preferred)
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including required travel to Canada.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: 150k-180k. Placement within the range based on experience, qualifications, and market consideration.
  • Opportunity for ownership and increased income through dividends and share equity increases

  • 401(k) savings plan with employer matching upon eligibility
  • 12 paid holidays a year
