About the Role:

Moltz Construction Inc. is looking for a Crane Operator to support work on various projects throughout the Colorado mountain area.  The first assignment will be on an water waster treatment plant located in Montrose, CO near Delta.

As a Crane Operator at Moltz Construction Inc., you will:

  • Perform crane operations involving travel, safe setups, foundation evaluation for stability, support with all critical pick work plans and daily pre-shift crane inspections.
  • Perform tasks involving strenuous manual labor on water and heavy concrete construction projects
  • Must know operating procedures for loading and unloading materials
  • Inspect and maintains crane to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Plan and paces own work efficiency to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals
  • Bring problems to the attention of the Foreman, Safety Manager or Human Resources

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Requires a Crane Certification (NCCCO)
  • Must be certified to operate a hydraulic, rough terrain crane
  • Two (2) years driving experience and a minimum of one (1) year experience operating a Crane, or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience
  • Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
  • Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends if required to meet project schedule

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary- $45.00 - $50.00 per hour based on experience
