About the Role:

 

Reporting to the Functional Application Architect on the Enterprise Application team, we are seeking a highly skilled SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Functional Analyst. Your responsibilities as an SAP SD Functional Analyst will include ongoing support and enhancement of the SAP system, specifically focusing on the Sales and Distribution (SD) module. This role requires extensive knowledge of master data, pricing, sales order creation, resource-related billing and billing/invoicing, including leading practices and a good understanding of the integration points to other SAP modules including (FICO, PM/ETM, PS, HCM).

 

As a SAP SD Functional Analyst at Graham, you will:

 

  • Work with key business users to design, configure, and develop SAP to meet business requirements.
  • Address production support tickets and enhancements, including coordination with team members and SAP support (OSS).
  • Create documentation suitable for internal systems control and end users which includes functional and technical specifications, methods and procedures, and training materials.
  • Maintain knowledge of development in SAP’s landscape to make recommendations for continuous improvement of SD processes.
  • Identify business improvement opportunities (including legislative compliance and reporting requirements).
  • Provide cross-functional support as needed.

 

 Qualifications/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) in the areas of:
    • Pricing and Taxation
    • Master Data (Customer, Material)
    • Resource Related Billing (RRB)
    • Billing/Invoicing
    • Cross-Module Integration
  • Understanding of SD related data models.
  • Knowledge of SAP Procurement and Material Management (MM) preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in SAP Sales and Distribution strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Experience working on small fast paced project teams.
  • Ability to balance concurrent, diverse projects with tight timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated initiative in recognizing opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Proven ability to define user requirements and corresponding system specifications, accurate time estimates and creation of clear and concise documentation.
  • Strong customer service skills with the proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members as well as internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with business and process modeling methodologies and tools.
