We are seeking top-tier talent to join our Maintenance and Turnaround division and build innovative projects in the oil, gas, petrochemical, renewable energy, power, mining, forestry, underground, heavy construction, maintenance, turnarounds and sustaining capital sectors. The Proposal & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for:

 

  • Implement the proposal process as defined in the GMS and ensure all prepared proposal and qualification submissions are high quality, compliant with solicitation requirements, and communicate Graham's capabilities and value of service
  • Offer possible solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
  • Ensure client documents are downloaded (and updated regularly), and a copy is sent to all proposal response team members
  • Demonstrate understanding of the solicitation document(s), identify response deliverables, establish submission schedules, and communicate responsibilities and accountabilities to the response team
  • Establish a responsibility / compliance matrix and update as required
  • Follow the proposal schedule ensuring all tasks are completed by the established due date
  • Provide support with any business development / marketing initiatives including but not limited to Social Media content creation & coordination, news article production, video editing, graphic design, presentations for proposals and marketing materials (internal & external communications)
  • Facilitate content review meetings as necessary
  • Check and edit narratives for understanding, grammar, and readability as one voice, ensuring consistency on use of format and terms
  • Produce visually engaging graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Illustrator
  • Maintain the document library for resumes, project fact sheets, etc.
  • Ensure focus on the proposal process, milestones, and deadlines
  • Plan for weekly deliverables with the end-goal in mind
  • Adhere to the GMS and the work-winning / proposal management process

 

What you need to succeed:

  • Completion of a diploma training program at a college or technical school, or a university bachelor program, communication or marketing degree/diploma
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role. Construction company experience would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work under demanding deadlines and work schedules
  • Proficiency with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, MS Office Suite and SharePoint
  • High level of organization; methodical in approach to workload
  • Strong communication and writing skills
