Graham is actively recruiting a Director of Environmental Services to support Corporate Services. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, HSEQ & Sustainability, this role provides strategic leadership for environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and climate‑related priorities across the organization. The Director oversees daily environmental operations, ensures regulatory compliance across multiple divisions, and represents Graham in discussions with clients and regulatory bodies. This role plays a key part in advancing the effectiveness of the HSE Management System, leading continuous improvement, and strengthening environmental stewardship and partnerships with internal leaders, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site
- Lead environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and climate‑related programs across all divisions
- Oversee daily environmental operations and ensure regulatory compliance while representing Graham with clients and regulators
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve environmental management plans, ESG programs, and the environmental components of the HSE Management System
- Monitor environmental performance, trends, risks, and KPIs, providing guidance, corrective actions, and operational support
- Support project pursuits and execution by identifying environmental risks, defining resource needs, and contributing to investigations, audits, and emergency planning
The Right Tools for the Job
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; ISO 14001 or professional environmental certification (e.g., P.Eng, P.Bio) is an asset
- 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental management and sustainability, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors
- Strong expertise in environmental regulations, compliance, auditing, waste management, and regulatory reporting, with excellent communication and client‑relationship skills
