Graham is actively recruiting for a Buyer to support the Buildings Division. Reporting to the Supply Chain Lead, the Buyer is responsible for delivering effective procurement and supply chain solutions across assigned projects, supporting both pre-construction and operations teams. This role focuses on sourcing goods and services, improving operational performance, reducing cost and business risk, and delivering greater value through the implementation of project-based supply chain strategies.  

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site 

• Deliver procurement and supply chain solutions that support both pre-construction and project execution teams.
• Develop and implement project procurement strategies, ensuring goods and services are sourced and delivered in alignment with project schedules.
• Analyze quotations and tenders, issue procurement inquiries, and support supplier and subcontractor selection.
• Build strong relationships with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve issues, expedite deliveries, and maintain supply chain performance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve service delivery, and mitigate supply chain risks while supporting safe and sustainable sourcing practices

The Right Tools for the Job 

• Education & Experience: Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with 2+ years of experience as a Buyer within construction, logistics, manufacturing, or a similar industry.
• Procurement Expertise: Working knowledge of procurement processes, supplier selection and evaluation, tendering, contract procurement practices, and subcontractor/material sourcing.
• Key Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems, and meet tight project deadlines
