About the Role:

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional employee experience through the effective execution of core HR services in the US and cross training into Canada. Reporting to the Manager, HR Operations Excellence, this position provides support to employees, leaders, and HR colleagues across all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, job changes, and employee transitions. The Human Resources Coordinator delivers day-to-day HR advisory support, coordinates HR processes, maintains accurate employee records, and helps ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. What You'll Do:

  • Manage employee lifecycle transactions, including job changes, transfers, and departures, ensuring requests are processed accurately, documentation is complete, approvals are obtained, and timelines are met.
  • Coordinate and track HR workflow requests and Service Desk tickets, identify issues and escalate complex matters when required.
  • Coordinate and review onboarding documentation, including Form I-9 requirements, ensuring employee records are complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable employment eligibility verification processes.
  • Manage Union relationships and dispatch process.
  • Draft, prepare, and coordinate a variety of employment-related documentation and employee communications, including employment verification letters, flexible work arrangements, performance-related correspondence, return-to-work letters, separation paperwork, and other HR documents.
  • Coordinates annual I-9 compliance audits, ensuring required documentation is reviewed, exceptions are tracked, and corrective actions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Applies critical thinking and sound judgment to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and ensure HR processes are completed accurately and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Support HR Advisors by compiling, formatting, and reviewing HR data and reports, helping to identify trends and present information that supports HR operational activities.
  • Conducts HR administration, including exit interview coordination, orientation surveys, and reporting.
  • Deliver exceptional support to employees and leaders by answering HR-related inquiries, sourcing information as required, and providing appropriate resources.
  • Provide support to leaders and guide them through HR systems, processes, and workflows.

What You'll Bring:

  • 1–2 years of Human Resources experience, ideally supporting employees in both the United States and Canada.
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, commitment to accuracy, and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong written communication skills with experience drafting and editing professional business documents.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience working with Human Resources Management Systems and workflow processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Experience with SAP and/or SuccessFactors is considered an asset.

 

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: 70k-80k
