About the Role
Moltz Construction Inc. is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to support new and existing projects in the Denver South Denver area. These projects consist of extensive excavation, concrete, underground piping, and equipment work. The projects are scheduled to last for 2+ years.
As a Heavy Equipment Operator at Moltz Construction Inc., you will:
- Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on water and heavy concrete construction projects.
- Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Plan and pace own work efficiency to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals.
- Bring problems to the attention of the Foreman, Safety Manager or Human Resources.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Operate gasoline, diesel, pneumatic or electric powered equipment to move objects or material according to project specifications
- Two (2) years driving experience and a minimum of one (1) year experience operating a heavy equipment, or equivalent combination of education, training or experience
- Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
- Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members
- Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends if required to meet project schedule
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary- $28-$38 per hour based on experience
