Jardeg Construction is recruiting an Apprentice Scaffolder to join the esteemed team for a position at CNRL Wolf Lake near Bonnyville, Alberta 

 

CNRL Wolf Lake is an In-Situ Thermal site, and you’ll enjoy a well-structured 4 on 3 off-day rotation with 10-hour workdays, complete with three 15-minute breaks and 5% RRSP. 

 

Local Scaffolders to the Bonnyville / Cold Lake area only.

 

 

As a Scaffolder, you will:

  • Practice safe and secure scaffold access without compromising on safety.
  • Communicate effectively with both staff and supervision to ensure expectations are met.
  • Design scaffolds to site requirements, material specifications and CSA standards.
  • Safe work practices in the industrial environment with knowledge of Task Hazard Assessments.
  • Fully competent with assembling, dismantling and modifying System (Layer/Ring Lock) and Tube & Clamp scaffolds.
  • Knowledge of isometric drawings an asset.
  • Supporting colleagues and participating in skills transfer. 
  • Prioritizing daily workload with managing materials efficiently.

 

Position Qualifications:

  • SAIA Scaffolder Journeyperson Certificate or Proof of Hours (6400+).
  • H2S Alive.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 2020) Certification.
  • Common Safety Orientation.
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Protection.
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
