Jardeg is currently recruiting a labourer/Welders helper to join the esteemed team for long term employment at CNRL Wolf Lake near Bonnyville, Alberta.

 

CNRL Wolf Lake is an In-Situ Thermal site, and you’ll enjoy a well-structured 4-days-on and 3-days-off rotation, with 11-hour workdays, complete with three 15-minute breaks (10am/12 noon/3pm - two paid and one unpaid) and 5% RRSP

Only local Labourers to the Bonnyville/Cold Lake area will be considered

 

A welder helper supports certified welders by preparing materials, organizing the workspace, and maintaining equipment to ensure efficient, safe operations. Key duties include cleaning, grinding, and positioning metal parts, transporting materials, operating tools like torches or grinders, and assisting with welding tasks. They also manage inventory, such as welding rods, and adhere strictly to safety procedures. 

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Experience with helping welders would be an asset.
  • Loading, unloading, identifying and distributing materials and equipment. 
  • Follow written and verbal instructions from various senior trade foreperson, leadhand or journeyperson. 

 

Position Qualifications:

 

  • H2S Alive.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 2020) Certification.
  • Common Safety Orientation.
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Protection.
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
