Jardeg Construction is recruiting for a Crane/Equipment Operator to join the esteemed team at CNRL Wolf Lake near Bonnyville, Alberta for a long term position.

CNRL Wolf Lake is an In-Situ Thermal site, and you’ll enjoy a well-structured 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation with 11-hour workdays, with three 15-minute breaks and 5% RRSP.

 An Equipment Operator will be expected to do but are not limited to the following tasks:

  • Perform work and operate all equipment (Bobcat, Skid Steer and Water Truck) in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, company and site policies and procedures.
  • Perform pre-operational routine inspections of equipment.
  • Communicate and review hand signals with spotter.
  • Demonstrate safe operation of all equipment.
  • Read and understand the results and purpose of all gauges and equipment.
  • Properly maintain and service or has equipment serviced daily.   

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience operating bobcat and skid steer
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO) 
  • CSTS 2020
  • H2S Alive
  • Skid Steer Certificate
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to climb, bend and lift up to 50 pounds
