Jardeg is accepting resumes for future Carpenter Apprentice opportunities, to join the team at the Cariboo Memorial Hospital Redevelopment in Williams Lake, BC. This will be a great opportunity for someone looking to be home every night through the winter and maybe beyond.

 

The schedule is 5 days on 2 days off. The shift may include extended hours and weekends, as required by the project. This position does not have camp accommodations or travel allowance. 

 

As a Carpenter Apprentice, your responsibilities are as below but not limited to:

 

  • Assisting with concrete formwork, stripping formwork, chipping of concrete
  • General site cleanup and housekeeping
  • Assist with other duties as required
  • Inform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures
  • Follow written and verbal instructions from foreperson, leadhand or journeyperson. 

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • CSTS 2020
  • WHIMIS
  • Fall Protection is an asset
  • Provincial Apprenticeship trade ticket and/or proof of hours
  • Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry
