We are currently recruiting for a Carpenters (Apprentice to Journeyperson level) to join the Infrastructure team in the Vancouver! We're looking for a Skilled Carpenters with experience in multiple phases of construction.


Shifts are 5 days on 2 days off – chance to work overtime (this may include extended hours/ weekends/ or possible afternoon & night shift) if site requires.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to comprehend blueprint readings and prepare layouts
  • Understand industrial concrete forming, be able to build concrete forms, and other structures
  • Complete rough and finishing carpentry tasks, while utilizing appropriate math skills
  • Check completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Organization and site clean up as per site HSE standards

 

Requirements:

  • Preference will be given to a Journeyperson Carpenter Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority or be a Registered Carpenter Apprentice
  • Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade
  • Certifications needed, CSTS & WHMIS
  • Fall Protection is an asset
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in multiple phases of construction, from foundation work to finishing 
  • Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada
