Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Crane Operator with an A Ticket to join the team at a Buildings project in Coquitlam, BC
 
This position is in Coquitlam, BC and does not have camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance. 
 
It is a 5 and 2 schedule with the possibility of working afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
 
A Tower Crane Operator has expertise in operating tower cranes and extensive knowledge in materials and equipment utilized within the industry. Strong commitment and knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
 
In this role, you will:
 
  • Clean, lubricate and maintain the crane on a continuous basis
  • Must be able to complete a proper and in-depth inspection of the crane daily and monitor the crane performance on an ongoing basis to prevent malfunctions and damage
  • Complete specific work orders, providing sufficient detail for co-workers to acknowledge work completion and/or equipment issues.
  • Provide mechanical expertise and apply advanced analytical and trouble shooting skills to assist operations, maintenance and technical personnel in identifying and solving day to day equipment problems. 
  • Strictly adhering to safety regulations and precautions. Complete required logs and inspection reports as required with regards to overhead cranes in the OHSA Regulation.
  • Vast knowledge of lifting capacities of the tower crane; ensure no load is lifted where the weight is unknown or overweight

 

Minimum Requirements:
 
  • Tower Crane Level A ticket - REQUIRED
  • 5 years’ related experience in an industrial setting
  • Experience in fast-paced high-rise projects
  • Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting Overhead cranes considered and asset
