Jardeg is currently recruiting Scaffolding Planner’s to join the maintenance team at the CNRL Albian site in Fort McMurray, AB.  These are temporary positions starting September 1st and lasting until June on a 7 on 7 off shift schedule, working 11.5 hours per day. Day and Night shifts available. Camp accommodations and flights provided from Calgary or Edmonton flight hubs.

 

Scaffolding Planners are responsible for organizing the project work scope into manageable, measurable, progress-able and safe work packages.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Under general supervision, executes front/end or field execution Planning activities for a single construction discipline.
  • Collaboratively works within the Planning team and with Construction and other Project Functions.
  • Mentors new Planners as required.
  • Has the ability to work as the sole Planner for a single or multiple disciplines (if proven education and experience) on smaller projects.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Scaffolder Journeyperson with related industry experience
  • Experience with planning, budgeting and estimation
  • Strong computer skills: Maximo or equivalent CMMS; Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Project/Primavera
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
  • Strong collaboration skills that enable you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • Valid Driver’s License

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • 3-5 years of Maintenance Experience
  • Proficiency in Maximo
