Jardeg is recruiting for Pipefitters Journeyperson for upcoming work at Woodland Constructors Ltd. at the SaskPower Aspen Site in Lanigan, Saskatchewan.

 

As a Journeyperson Pipefitter you will:

 

  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements;
  • Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machine;
  • Select type and size of pipe required;
  • Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools;
  • Weld, braze, cement, solder, and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system;
  • HDPE Fusion experience NPS 4”-20” (with fusion tickets) and/or Vic Roll Grooving NPS 4”-24”Install supports, valves, piping and control systems;
  • Test system for leaks using testing equipment;
  • Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system;
  • Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system;
  • Involved in working with power tools and heavy equipment.

 

Requirements:

 

  • CSTS 2020 or SCOT
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Fall Protection (OSSA Preferred)
  • Confined Space (OSSA Preferred)
  • Elevated Work Platform (OSSA Preferred)
  • Journeyperson Certificate or be a registered Apprentice
  • Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada,
  • Pre employment Drug and Alcohol testing is required
