Jardeg is recruiting for a Pipefitters General Foreperson for upcoming work at Woodland Constructors Ltd. at the SaskPower Aspen Site in Lanigan, Saskatchewan.
The Mechanical General Foreperson is responsible for the organization, direction, supervision and coordination of construction activities on a construction project site as delineated in the applicable project execution procedures, site specific safety plan and project execution plan.
Responsibilities:

Organize and coordinate construction activities on a job site

Assist in the implementation and enforcement of project procedures, schedules, cost controls and reporting

Request and coordinate movement of tools, materials and equipment in accordance with established procedures and lead times
-
Identify potential changes to project scope and advises project superintendent of associated impacts

Assist in the coordination and planning of projects in a particular construction area

Monitor contractors, trades performance, progress and productivity

Ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications
Position Qualifications:
-
Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
-
PMP designation would be an asset.

MMP designation would be an asset.
-
Journeyman ticket / Red seal / Blue seal certification would be an asset.

Formal supervisory or management training/certification is an asset
-
Must hold a valid Driver's License
-
5 year Driver's Abstract (must be reviewed and approved by site safety team)
