Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Labourer for work with Technical Workforce Inc. at our Shop and Yard in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This role is ideal for someone with a background in warehousing or parts management, and who is comfortable using a computer for inventory cataloging and data entry.
 
As a Shop and Yard labourer you will be responsible for:
 
  • Assist with general labour tasks on site.
  • Organizing and maintaining yard.
  • Install safety fences and railings.
  • Identify appropriate tools for necessary task.
  • Handle all power tools.
  • Use, skill saw, drills, sawzall, concrete vibrator, compressor, jackhammer in a safe manner.
  • Organizing equipment and supplies.
  • Identifying and report hazardous or unsafe areas.
  • Demonstrating understanding of hand signals
  • Support inventory management and organization of parts and materials
  • Use basic computer programs to catalog and track inventory
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse and yard areas
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
 
 
 Requirements:
 
  • Construction experience- 1 year (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (required)
  • Experience operating a forklift-(preferred but not required)
  • Previous experience in warehousing, parts handling, or similar roles
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., data entry, using spreadsheets or inventory software) (required)
