Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Labourer for work with Technical Workforce Inc. at our Shop and Yard in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a shop environment and possess strong technical and interpersonal skills.
 
 
As a Shop and Yard Labourer you will be responsible for:
 
  • Performing general labour duties within the shop.
  • Organizing equipment and supplies.
  • Loading and unloading equipment.
  • Organizing and maintaining yard.
  • Install safety fences and railings.
  • Identify appropriate tools for necessary task.
  • Handle all power tools.
  • Identifying and report hazardous or unsafe areas.
  • Support inventory management and organization of parts and materials
  • Use basic computer programs to catalog and track inventory.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the yard.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
  • Utilize computer systems for data entry, inventory tracking, and parts management.
 
 
 
 Requirements:
 
  • Previous experience working as a labourer in a shop setting.
  • Strong computer skills, including: Data entry, inventory management, familiarity with parts person programs
  • Excellent soft skills, including: Personable and approachable, ability to work well with others, strong organizational skills
  • Construction experience- 1 year (preferred)
  • Driving License (required)
  • Experience operating a Skidsteer or Zoom Boom- (preferred but not required)
