Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Journeyperson Carpenter for work with Technical Workforce Inc. at our Dakota Dunes Thermal Spa project in Whitecap Saskatchewan.

The Thermal Spa will be the first of its kind in Saskatchewan, and the first Indigenous-themed thermal spa in Canada.

The spa will offer an authentic experience rooted in Dakota customs and traditions, featuring thermal water therapy, saunas, steam rooms, cold plunge pools, hot tubs, and relaxation areas throughout the facility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Build forms for concrete
• Constructs and forms chutes for pouring concrete
• Pouring and finishing concrete
• Backing, hoarding removal, parapet caps, decking, handrails
• Cut, shape and join
• layout-measuring, marking and arranging of various construction materials
• Checks accuracy of work and adjusts as required
• Working from and studying blueprints for work planning
• Informs immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures

Education/Experience:

• Journeyperson Carpenter Or an equivalent combination of experience, training and education
• 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience
• CSTS
• WHIMIS
• Fall Protection
