Position: Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson - Sask Power Aspen

Project Type: Industrial 

Project Location: Lanigan, SK 

Shift: Day 

Schedule: 14 Days on 7 off

Accommodations: LOA: $185 per day worked - To qualify you must be over 100 KM’s from the job site, you will be required to provide 2 pieces of documentations with proof of address.

Jardeg is recruiting for Instrumentation Tech Journeyperson  for upcoming work at Woodland Constructors Ltd. for SaskPower Aspen located in Lanigan, Saskatchewan.

 

As a Instrumentation Journeyperson Technician you will:

 

  • Work with a variety of pneumatic and electronic instruments to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, and composition.
  • Install tubing for instrument air, sample points, and analyzers.
  • Installation of flowmeters, pressure transmitters and gauges, temperature indicators, controllers, and other recording, indicating, or controlling instruments.
  • Calibrate, repair, maintain and adjust system components, and install and maintain instruments on new or existing equipment.
  • Prepare schematic drawings, sketches, and reports to reflect changes or alterations made in instruments, circuits and systems.
  • Tubing / calibration experience would be considered an asset

 

Requirements:

 

  • Possess a valid Journeyperson certificate 
  • CSTS 2020 OR SCOT Certificate must be issues within 5 years
  • Fall Protection
  • AWP/EWO
  • Confined Space - Good To Have
  • Valid Driver's License or Government issued ID
  • Satisfactory completion of Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
