Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Entry Labourer/Cleaner to join the Technical Workforce Inc. team at the VIDO project in Saskatoon, Sk! 

 

At this time, this position is for local candidates only, as it does not have camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance.

 

This position is a 5 days on and 2 days off schedule with the possibility of working afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform general labour tasks including loading/unloading materials, moving equipment, and assisting tradespeople.
  • Concrete hording repair
  • Assisting other trades with construction duties.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, disinfect and thoroughly inspect all areas to maintain a sterile environment
  • Remove debris, dust, and construction waste from designated zones
  • Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and handrails.
  • Set up and dismantle temporary structures, barricades, and signage as needed.
  • Ensure all tools and materials are stored safely and neatly at the end of each shift.
  • Assist with site inspections by ensuring all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Support other construction tasks as directed by the supervisor
  • Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines
  • Other duties as requested

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • WHMIS 2015 preferred 
  • Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed.
  • Experience with cleaning and organizing materials and equipment for job site preparation.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of performing repetitive movements throughout the shift
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Candidates local to Saskatoon preferred
  • Skid steer and zoom boom certifications are an asset
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
