Jardeg is recruiting for Carpenter Apprentices for upcoming work at the Cameco site near Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, the world's largest high-grade uranium mine and mill. The schedule for this position is 14 days on, 7 days off. This is a fly-in, fly-out position. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with building forms for concrete 
  • Assist with forming and pouring concrete slabs, gradebeams and walls
  • Assist with general layout
  • Build and install scaffolding and workdecks
  • Study blueprints for work planning
  • Inform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas; remove debris and hazards; support end-of-shift cleanup
  • Perform labourer duties when required

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Preference will be given to Registered Carpenter Apprentice from a recognized provincial training authority
  • CSTS-2020 / SCOT
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Fall Protection is an asset
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
