Supervise and mentor a team on-site
- Ensure top-quality workmanship and safety standards

Work closely with site leadership and trades to maintain project flow and efficiency; support site logistics

Assist the team to lead construction activities in the field and ensure that construction goals are achieved and met or exceed client expectations

Produce work that results in an exceptional client experience

Ensure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high-quality standards
- Work with the project team to meet milestones and completion dates according to the established project schedule

Provide clear direction to team members you’re leading to ensure project targets are achieved

Attend and provide input at project meetings and ensure that information is transmitted to those on your field team

Assess the target production goals, establish a team workflow, and execute the plan to achieve it
- Support staff through coaching and team huddles

Efficiently and safely use the relevant tools and equipment needed to produce the various assemblies and layouts for the project

Support and maintain a healthy, happy, productive work environment and culture

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional presentation of the work site
- You are a skilled Carpenter that has experience managing construction teams
-
Holding a valid Journeyperson ticket is an asset
- CSTS 2020 & WHMIS 2015
- You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory/leadership role

Buildings/commercial experience is an asset

You have an understanding of construction phases, project schedules, and workflows
- Experience in multiple phases of construction, from foundation work to finishing

Can proficiently describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
- Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada
