Jardeg is Recruiting Journeyperson Pipefitters to join the Quinn Construction Maintenance team at the Ineos site near Red Deer, Alberta.

 

Reporting to site supervision, the role of Journeyperson Pipefitter will be expected to start on Monday September 8th to Thursday September 11th for 4 days of working 10 hour days. This position will perform general pipefitter work at our client’s facility located in Joffre. This will a Reactor wash, rigging and bolt up.

Steamfitter – pipefitters lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. Pipefitters also remove and replace worn components, do general maintenance work and may work on plant shut-downs.

 

Primary Duties:

  • Reactor Wash
  • Rigging & Bolt up

 

Responsibilities:

  • Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

  • CSTS 2020
  • ESC Fall Protection
  • ESC Confined Space
  • Successful completion of drug and alcohol test
