Jardeg is recruiting Pipeline Spacers/Front End Crew Pipeliners in Northern Alberta for future opportunities. Embrace a well-balanced schedule, working 8-days on and 6-days off rotation, with each workday consisting of 11 hours. Drive-in/ drive-out to site with Travel Allowance provided.

Currently a $500 Per full rotation Travel Allowance is offered with the requirement to drive to and from site each shift.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in positioning and aligning pipe segments before welding operations.
  • Use spacing tools, wedges, clamps, and levels to achieve correct pipe gap tolerances.
  • Ensure pipe is supported properly on skids or supports during fit-up.
  • Communicate with operators and welders to make real-time adjustments.
  • Observe safety protocols and site procedures at all times.
  • Inspect pipe ends for cleanliness, bevel quality, and alignment before welders begin. Maintain and transport hand tools and equipment as needed.
  • Report any defects or misalignments to the Foreman or Weld Inspector. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and rugged terrain. Assist in other duties as assigned on the pipeline right-of-way.

 

Requirements:

 

  • CSTS 2020
  • Fall Protection
  • H2s Alive
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
