Jardeg is recruiting Steamfitter/Pipefitters, Welders, Tank Supervisors, Recycle Techicians, Labourers and Equipment Operators to join the Cenovus Upgrader Lloydminster, SK maintenance team. Shift schedule will be a 9/80, which is defined on a 2 week cycle, Week 1: Monday-Friday 9 hour days (8 hour Friday), Week 2: Monday - Thursday 9 hour days.

Steamfitter/Pipefitters

Steamfitter/Pipefitters lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. Pipefitters also remove and replace worn components, do general maintenance work and may work on plant shutdowns.

 

Welders 

Welders join or sever metals in beams, girders, vessels, piping and other metal components, make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants, and weld parts, tools, machines and equipment. Welders develop patterns for projects or follow directions given in layouts, blueprints and work orders, clean, check for defects and shape component parts, sometimes using a cutting torch and weld parts together.

 

Tank Supervisors

Tank Inspectors supervize the cleaning and vapor-freeing tanks, vessels and drums for inspection and repairs at regular intervalse. These vessels include both above ground and below ground and underground concrete sumps and pits.

 

Recycle Techicians

Recycle Techicians control access to the Bulk Waste Storage area, coordinate waste disposal with bin providers on a timely manner.

 

Labourers

Labourers assist skilled trades people and perform a wide range of tasks at construction sites.

 

Equipment Operators

Equipment Operators perform work and operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, company and site policies and procedures.
