Jardeg is recruiting Steamfitter/Pipefitter Journeyperson or Apprentices to join the Cenovus Upgrader in Lloydminster, SK turnaround team until mid June. Rotation is 4-10's (Monday - Thursday) for pre-outage and 6-10's for execution of turnaround starting May 25th, 2026 until June 15th, 2026
As a Steamfitter/Pipefitter your key responsibilities include but is not limited to:
- Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Pipefitter, preferably in industrial or construction settings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques used in pipefitting.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Pipefitter/Steamfitter Journeyperson or Apprentice (2nd-4th year only) certification.
- CSTS 2020
- Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive
- Energy Safety Canada Elevated Work Platform
- Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection
- Energy Safety Canada Confined Space
- Standard First Aid
- WHMIS (2015)
- Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
