Jardeg is recruiting for local Steamfitter/Pipefitter Apprentices to join the team for 10 on 4 off position starting Feb 10th

As a Steamfitter/Pipefitter your key responsibilities include but is not limited to:
- Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
Qualifications:
- Apprentice Pipefitter/Steamfitter certification.
- Proven experience as an Apprentice Pipefitter, preferably in industrial or construction settings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques used in pipefitting.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.

- Apprentice Steamfitter/Pipefitter Ticket
- CSTS 2020
- Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive
- AWP
- Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection
- WHMIS (2015)
- Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
