Jardeg is recruiting a Recycle Waste Coordinator to join the Cenovus Upgrader Lloydminster, SK maintenance team. This role will be accountable to the Cenovus Senior Supervisor Maintenance Trades.
Responsibilities:
- The general duties of the Recycle Waste Coordinator would include the control access to the Bulk Waste Storage area (recycle yard and Hazardous Waste Yard), coordinate waste disposal with bin providers on a timely manner, oversee the organization and separation of various waste streams, label and distribute barrels for various waste streams in individual plants and work with the Environmental Management System Group (EMS) on the disposal of waste products.
- Work with various contractors on managing the waste streams, recycle yard and bulk waste storage lay down areas, including scheduling of disposal and recycling of waste materials
- Other responsibilities include operating a skid steer and other related equipment for loading/unloading various items and doing snow removal and coordinating those activities as needed
- Spill response
- Knowledge of applicable environmental regulations and other relevant information is required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Recycle Technician experience
- Skid Steer operating ticket
- Working knowledge of Excel/Word and SAP
- CSTS 2020
- Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive
- Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection
- WHMIS (2015)
- Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
Assets, but not required:
- Ground Disturbance Certification
- Post Secondary education related to Conservation and Reclamation or Environmental Management or any equivalent/transferable combination of education and experience
