Jardeg is looking for a Mechanical Workface Planner to join the Upgrader Projects Team at the Cenovus site in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. This is a permanent position starting in March on a 9/80 shift schedule. Living out allowance is provided for those residing outside the local area.
Maintenance Planners are responsible for organizing the project work scope into manageable, measurable, progress-able and safe work packages.
Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, executes front/end or field execution WFP activities for a single construction discipline.
- Collaboratively works within the WFP team and with Construction and other Project Functions.
- Mentors new Workface Planners as required.
- Has the ability to work as the sole Workface Planner for a single or multiple disciplines (if proven education and experience) on smaller projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- Related industry experience with inter-provincial red seal (i.e. Millwright, Pipefitter, Ironworker) or technologist certification is required
- Experience with planning, budgeting and estimation
- Strong computer skills: SAP; Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Project/Primavera
- This role requires a satisfactory criminal record check
- Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
- Strong collaboration skills that enable you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
Preferred Qualifications
- Pipefitter trade background preferred
- Previous workface planning and/or project controls experience
