Jardeg is recruiting for a Journeyperson Ironworker to join the Cenovus Lloydminster team. Shift schedule will be 9 days on, 5 days off for 10 hours a day. 

 

***Preference will be given to those who are local to Lloydminster area. Living Out Allowance and Travel Allowance available to those who qualify.

 

As a B-Pressure Rig Welder your key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Use welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, or GTAW to weld pressure piping
  • Weld up to 30 inches (FDI) per day when material is available
  • Some welds may be customized while others may consist of repetitive procedures

 

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Welding Certification
  • Grade B-Pressure Welding Certification
  • Proven experience as Journeyperson B-Pressure, preferably in a heavy industrial or construction settings
  • Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools and different welding techniques used as a B-Pressure Welder
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Construction Safety Training System (CSTS '09 or 2020) OR Petroleum Safety Training (PST)
  • ESC H2S Alive
  • AWP
  • ESC Fall Protection
  • WHMIS (2015)
