Jardeg is recruiting Journeyperson and Apprentice Ironworker’s to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the fall turnaround. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary. Day and night shift positions are available.
Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as September 3rd and running until September 14, 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Erect and Install scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks and other hoisting equipment.
- Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials. Assemble and erect pre-fabricated metal structures
- Check the alignments and join steel parts by bolting or tack welding them with an electric arc process.
Position Qualifications:
- Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
- Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
- CSTS 09 or CSO
- Confined Space
- Fall Protection
- Basic Rigging
