Jardeg is looking to hire Instrumentation Technician 3rd/4th year apprentices for their Turnaround at Cenovus Upgrader in Lloydminster, SK. Potential candidates will be working on Turnaround event in mid-May to June 2024.
It will be on 6/1 or 12/2 shift with opportunity to work in pre-TA starting April 22, 2024, Turnaround event will be for about 4 weeks.
*** LOA available for eligible candidates $170/day***
Instrument technicians install, maintain and repair the measuring and control devices used in industrial and commercial processing. Instrument technicians work with a wide variety of pneumatic, electronic and microcomputer devices used to measure and control pressure, flow, temperature, level, motion, force, and chemical composition.
Responsibilities:
- Install, test, calibrate valves, switches, and measurement devices.
- Work with a variety of pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing instrument to measure and control variables.
- Experience with tube bending with various sizes of tube benders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Instrumentation Technician registered apprentice ticket
- CSTS - 2020
- H2s Alive
- Standard First Aid (optional)
- ESC Fall Protection
- Driver's License and Abstract
